SUMMER DRYLAND CAMPS

4 Weekly Sessions: July 25 - Aug 18  

 Monday - Thursday,  8:00 AM - NOON


Get the kiddos out of the house, off the screens, and moving! Start building relationships with teammates and coaches and get strong and prepared for the 2022/23 season while enjoying the summer. 

DPSEF is very excited to offer four weekly dryland programs this summer.


Who: U16 and under

When:  Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - NOON: Choose from 1 to 4 sessions: 

July 25 - July 28th / August 1 - 4 / August 8 - 11 / August 15 - 18

Where: Meeting at the Learning Center and transport the kiddos from there. Locations for conditioning and adventures will include the DPSEF Learning Center, Diamond Peak Ski Resort, IVGID beaches, and hiking and biking trails initiated from Diamond Peak Ski Resort.  

Activities: Ski Deck, gym time, Village Greenfield days, mountain biking, inline roller skating, hiking, and exploring the beautiful great outdoors in Lake Tahoe.

Includes: Transportation and snacks

Cost:  $150 per week or all 4 weeks for $500

Staff: Mats and TBD.  

Requirements TBD: Will need Inline skates, elbow and knee pads, helmet, bicycle, trail shoes, ski boots & socks, snacks, and water. The coach will inform parents of the weekly schedule for each activity. 


ITINERARY FOR DRYLAND CAMP

8 am -12 pm Monday through Thursday. Leaving from DPSEF Learning Center. 

Monday  Mountain Bike Day Mt. Rose Wilderness Downhill Rim Trail Bike Park after riding for fun. 

Required Equipment; Mountain bike, Helmet required, Protective gear is encouraged, water required, snacks provided.

Coaches will cover the basics of trail riding and etiquette, the basics of mountain bike trail riding, and skill development. Uphill and downhill cross-country riding. We will finish the day at the Incline Bike Park. While riding the bike park, our focus will be on jumping and practicing banked turns. 

GOAL: Balance and progress our bike skills


Tuesdays  Hike Day We will choose a different medium to hard hike to compete each week. 

Required Equipment: Good shoes, water bottle, snacks provided

GOAL: endurance & learning, and appreciating the history and beauty of Tahoe


Wednesdays  Learning Center/Village Green/Beach 

Required Equipment: Good shoes, water bottle, snacks provided

Goal: Agility in work, balance, and fine motor skills


Thursdays  Diamond Peak Day Inline skating in the parking lot, hike, and lunch at SnowFlake Lodge

Required Equipment: Inline roller skates, helmet, elbow and knee guards encouraged, water bottle, lunch provided

GOAL: Balance/endurance & Team building over a lunch
